We are always on the hunt for new tech and new ideas here at Techaeris and we think every idea should be covered no matter how small. We ran across a little company called, Storacell, who makes battery holders to alleviate the clutter and mess they can sometimes create. Check out the video after the break.
By keeping batteries neatly contained, the battery caddies not only save time, they make your home a safer place, too; loose 9V batteries represent a fire hazard if their terminals come into contact with other metals.
The market for battery caddies extends beyond just individual consumers. Businesses looking for branded promotional items need look no further than Storacell. The AA SlimLine caddy is now available in quantities ranging from 500 to 5,000, each with a custom company logo and name printed along the side.
Response to Storacell’s innovative but simple products has been overwhelmingly positive: “The first thing I did when I received the caddies was to take a picture of the mess of batteries that I needed to organize. After the batteries were all in their respective caddies, I took another picture showing everything neat and organized. Now I have the ‘Before’ and ‘After’ pictures to show friends and family, proving how essential these caddies are,” says customer H. Brown.
Storacell listens closely to customer feedback and requests as they explore new product ideas. Currently on the drawing board are holders for the 18650 battery. Also new for 2014 will be a Velcro pouch complete with a belt loop for SlimLine AA, AAA and CR123 battery caddies. Customers are encouraged to engage with Storacell on social media, such as Facebook and Pinterest.
All Storacell products are Made in America. The company gladly ships its battery caddies around the world through a network of six international distributors. Storacell also ships to APO/FPO addresses for free. Ultimately, the company’s goal is to become the go-to solution for battery management, regardless of application. Storacell believes these dispensers will soon become the universal standard for handling batteries.
