Nissan released a video on YouTube today which CNET says is possibly hinting at a Google Glass competitor in it’s 3E. There is no information on what this piece of tech is but it looks very interesting. Unlike Google Glass the 3E sits in front of the left eye, not above the eye (right eye in the case of Google Glass) like Google Glass. This indicates to me that this is more of a HUD device for a possible concept vehicle. I’m not really sure what Nissan would have to gain to go into the consumer wearables arena. Integration into their autos is more likely but again, there is little to no information on what this is exactly. Video after the break.
