As much as I love full sized, ballistic style cases, I have always had a huge soft spot for slimline cases. I love the ability to get solid protection, while adding next to no bulk at all, and retain as much of the original form of the device as possible. I have used a lot of different products, from numerous makers, but never have I used anything as light as the Karabon S from Evutec.
Excellent impact protection, and possibly bulletproof????
Okay, no the Karbon S is not bulletproof, as fun as that would be. We are just not equipped to handle ballistics testing here at Techaeris HQ. The case is, however, composed of a Kevlar bi-weave material, giving it a great deal of strength, while allowing for an almost non-existent profile and weight. Evutec’s web page really puts it best, stating:

The Karbon S loses it’s “new case” slickness after a few days, becoming easy to hold, pull from a pocket, or hold during a phone call. The case gives a few millimeters of lip across the front, providing some breathing room against face down drops, with perfect cutouts for the camera and speaker. Evutec even gives you two colors to choose from, Black and red, to suit your individual tastes.
The high quality materials of the Karbon S do bring a $39.95 price tag, but in my opinion, it is worth every penny. I give the Karbon S case for Samsung galaxy S4 a full 5 stars, and my highest recommendation. Click over to Evutec.com and grab one for yourself.
