Leo’s Fortune, the award winning iOS game, will be landing in the Google Play store this July 1oth so be ready Android users! I reviewed the game on the iOS platform here on Techaeris and it’s an absolutely fabulous piece of art! From the music and characters to the stunningly beautiful graphics you will want to buy this game. I’m not sure how they will offer the game up on Android but on iOS it’s a one time purchase with no in app purchases or any advertisement. Things may be a little different on Android but either way, the game is absolutely brilliant. Check out the Leo’s Fortune trailer after the break.
The first hint that Leo’s Fortune was coming to Android was dropped at Google I/O 2014 when they were demoing Android TV. It didn’t take long for Justin Jelinek and I to notice it and we started talking about it in the crew hangout. It’s refreshing to see major iOS players finally bringing their games and apps over to Android. It’s a definite sign that the platform is not only mature but marketable and useable. There was a time when people wouldn’t dare to consider Android, but that’s changing even faster than before. I use both platforms and I love seeing this and hope more developers follow suit. These moves into the Android ecosystem will not only strengthen Android but it will force Apple to up its game. We need that, we need competition, it’s the best thing for the customer and it’s the best thing for innovation. I’m so excited for Android users to experience this game. I highly recommend it, it will be well worth the price of admission. What do you think about Leo’s Fortune coming to Android? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
