All the way back at Google I/O, one of the main announcements was Android Auto. Plenty of partners were announced, one of which was Stitcher. Stitcher has gone ahead and made that partnership completely official with a recent release. Also announced was Tweetcard integration. Keep reading for more information from Stitcher.

We hope your summer is off to a great start and we hope to make it a little better with some major Stitcher announcements that make it easier for listeners to discover and listen to your shows.
Android Auto
We kicked off our summer with a really exciting announcement at Google I/O where we were named as one of Android Auto’s first developer partners. Our inclusion in Android Auto will make Stitcher available in an even greater number of vehicles including Acura, Audi, Fiat, Kia and many more. We’re thrilled to bring your shows to an increasing number of people through connected car experiences. We are dedicated to making listening fun and easy through mobile devices, in-car experiences and other products like the Aether Cone, where we were also recently announced as an app launch partner.Use Stitcher Sharing Links and Our Tweet Cards to Allow Listeners to Listen Inside of Twitter Apps
Last week, we launched our Tweetcards integration to increase engagement with your audio on Twitter. Now, if you use a Stitcher share link in a Tweet, Twitter will automatically embed Stitcher’s player where anyone is able to listen to the episode you shared.
Simply log into the Partner Portal click the “Promote” button then click the “Twitter bird” and share away!Listening that happens on Twitter using the Tweetcard counts toward your Stitcher listening numbers and also includes great features like a “Share” button as well as our “Listen Later” function, allowing your audience to save the episode to their Listen Later playlist if they don’t have time to listen when they come across your episode.
Using Stitcher links on Twitter is just another way to increase your audience on Stitcher as well as allowing an easy way for people to hear and share your show.
We are excited to share more fantastic features with you later this summer. Keep your ears out and Happy Podcasting!
Cheers!
The Stitcher Team
