Scottish cyclist Danny Macaskill is one of these guys who you absolutely live through when you watch some of the things he does and his newest short film is no exception. Macaskill travels high up on the Cuillin Ridgeline in Scotland to ride his mountain bike and wow us with the views and his skills. You have to watch Macaskill’s video below and I’m sure you’ll agree with me.
The Cuillin are a 12 km long, horseshoe shaped range of rocky mountains with over 30 peaks on the Isle of Skye. The Cuillin are made up of two main ridges, the true Cuillin are also known as the Black Cuillin, which distinguishes them from the lower, but by no mean less spectacular Red Hills (Am Binnean Dearg), sometimes called the Red Cuillin, which lie across Glen Sligachan, around Loch Coruisk.
There are a handful of people in this world who have the talent to bring us perspectives of this world we probably would never experience on our own and today’s technology is the catalyst in spreading it around. It amazes me that we can enjoy the Cuillin Ridgeline from half way across the world and watch someone with amazing skills at the same time.
