Bank Of America Charges Apple Pay Customers Twice

Bank Of America customers are experiencing the first early adopter woes of Apple Pay. It seems the bank or Apple, have a glitch in their payment system which is double charging customers for transactions. CNN video taped one of those transactions.  Check out the video after the break.

As with any new implementation of a service there is bound to be some quirks and issues that need to be ironed out. Bank of America is aware of the issue and is working on getting it fixed and Apple is aware as well but aren’t taking responsibility for the glitches.

“We’re aware of a Bank of America issue impacting a very small number of Apple Pay users,” said Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller. “They’re working on a fix that will be available shortly.”

It’s hard to say who is ultimately responsible for the duplicate charges, for now it seems Bank Of America is shouldering the blame but either way, consumers will be happy once it’s all sorted out.
