When you express interest in buying an Apple Watch Edition, an hour-long fitting and consultation process will begin. You will also be shown to a private area, away from the hustle and bustle of the Apple Store, where you can make your decisions in peace. If you are undecided between models, you’ll also be able to compare and contrast in the private space.
Really it sounds like Apple has the process down to a science, and I have no doubt that once you express interest in buying an Edition, a masterfully choreographed dance will ensue. You can bet Jony Ives has had a fair amount to do with it as well; from the Editions display case, to the stools on which you sit, mindful design will be at the center of your buying experience.
To set up your Apple Watch, flexibility is key, and you can either stay in the Apple Store and set up your watch with the person who originally served you, or take it home and have someone help you online. Of course, you will get a special customer service number, which you may call any time for the first two years, and perhaps the best perk of all;
