The OnePlus Two Will Have 4GB Of RAM And Cost Less Than $450

OnePlus has been on a roll teasing us with the new specs for it’s newest flagship device. This time around, they’re saying the OnePlus Two will come with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM along with a price tag less then $450. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m thinking the price will be $449, which is under $450, but really isn’t.

Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, did tell us that the price of the OnePlus Two would be under $450, along with stating “Honesty, it’s never about the price. We can make the best smartphone we can, and we go from there.” This was said from the OnePlus Google + page.

This will be the lowest priced high end phone to date when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, HTC One M9, and both iPhone 6’s whose retail price is well over $450. It would be nice to see other manufacturers following the same price point, but we all know that isn’t easy when adding in all the nice features and build quality.

OnePlus chose 4GB of RAM so it’ll bring lower power consumption along with doubling the bandwidth of performance of the 3GB RAM that was used in last year’s OnePlus One. So far, OnePlus has teased us about the processor being the Snapdragon 810 V2.1, USB type C, and a finger print scanner.

July 27th at 7 PM PT is the day OnePlus will announce the OnePlus Two (in VR). It’s coming up soon, so I wonder how many more teasers will be given? Guess we’ll have to wait to find out. Especially since neither the rear facing camera, front facing camera, or the screen size were announced. Rumors say screen size is 5.5 inches again, but again, rumors will always be rumors.
