Three New Devices Are Heading to T-Mobile

T-Mobile is about to add three new devices to their arsenal. One of them, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, was recently released by Sprint back on July 10th. The other two devices are the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime and Kyocera Hydro WAVE. At least there’s another Kyocera phone that will be out on display other than the Kyocera Rally, which happens to be a basic candy bar phone (if you guys remember those).

None of the three devices coming to T-Mobile are anywhere close to being on the high end side much like the Galaxy devices older cousins the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, but they may sell to the customers who would prefer a phone that doesn’t have all bells and whistles.

Specs on these devices goes as follows:

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime

  • 5″ qHD display (540 x 960)
  • 4G LTE (support for Band 2, 4, and 12)
  • HD Voice and VoLTE
  • Quad core 1.2GHz processor (Snapdragon 410)
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • 8GB internal
  • Micro SD card slot
  • 8 megapixel rear facing camera
  • 5 megapixel wide angle front facing camera
  • Android 5.1.1

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime

  • 4.5″ WVGA display
  • 4G LTE (support for Band 2, 4, and 12)
  • HD Voice and VoLTE
  • Quad core 1.2GHz processors (Snapdragon 410 again)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal storage
  • Micro SD card slot
  • 5 megapixel rear facing camera
  • 2 megapixel front facing camera
  • Android 5.1.1

Kyocera Hydro WAVE

  • 5″ qHD dislay
  • 4G LTE (support for Band 12)
  • 1.2GHz quad core processor
  • 8GB internal storage
  • 1GB RAM
  • 5 megapixel rear facing camera
  • 2 megapixel front facing camera
  • IP57 (dust and water resistant for up to one meter for half and hour)
  • Android 5.1.1

The Kyocera Hydro WAVE may be a better choice for those who will be out and about around the water, as it’s the only water resistant phone out of the three. At the moment prices are not available, but should be out by the time the release date comes closer.

Do you think the phones will be a hit for T-Mobile customers who aren’t looking for something on the high end side of specs? Don’t forget to let us know by leaving a comment below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
