Probably one of the greatest rock and roll songs of all time, “La Bamba” by Ritchie Valens is catchy and fun to sing. But let’s face it, most people don’t really know the words. Now Google Translate is fixing that for you by showing off its translation skills through its Android app. Check out the video below.

The Google Translate app for both Android and iOS has been updated to feature 27 new languages it can translate. The app is a great tool for travelers who are in foreign countries who might need to read a sign or two. Just open the app, choose what language you want to translate from and to and point your camera at the sign. It’s pretty amazing and I bet you wonder how they do it. Check out the next video below for a little explanation.

That’s some pretty impressive technology going on there and the app also works without a data connection making it really excellent for travelers who like to go off the beaten path. Head over to the Google Play store or the Apple App Store and search for Google Translate, download the app and try it out for yourself. Let us know how you like it in the comments below or on Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
