It’s that time again when new Nexus devices are just around the corner. It looks like Amazon is getting rid of excess stock by having a Nexus 6 sale ahead of the anticipated announcement of a new Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 from Google later this month.
The Nexus 6 32GB and 64GB models has been dropped by $150 bringing the price down to $349.99USD and $399.99USD respectively. Blue and white versions of Google’s unlocked phablet are on sale, and shipping is free – Amazon Prime members can take advantage of free two-day shipping. Note that this sale is for the unlocked versions of the phone, and not the carrier specific versions.
It’s hard to say how long this sale will last, or how long inventory will last at this price, or if other vendors and sites like the official Google Store or Motorola will even follow suit. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading to a larger phone, you can’t go wrong with the Nexus 6 – especially at this price. If you do purchase one, you’ll probably want to pick up a decent case for it, and there are plenty of those on Amazon as well.
The Midnight Blue 32GB version is shipping to Canada as well (the other three aren’t), and even with the current exchange rate are a great deal considering the Nexus 6 is still listed on Amazon.ca at $649.99.
