Samsung Galaxy S7 Rumors Making The Rounds

|

We never get tired of rumors do we? Some can be completely outlandish but most of the time they’re just fun to think about. Let’s start with some Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors that have started forming up on the inter-web. Supposedly the Galaxy S line flagship will be released in January and not February like its predecessors. It’ll still come with the glass front and back like the Galaxy S6/S6 edge, but the frame could be made from magnesium alloy to make the device feel more premium and sturdy.

If rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy S7 will have a 64-bit Exynos 8890 processor and ClearForce, Samsung’s answer to Apple’s 3D Touch. Samsung is rumored to have gone with the Sabre 9018AQ2M audio chip made by ESS Technology. According to MyDrivers:

With the Sabre 9018AQ2M chip on board, SNR continues up to 129dB, while supporting the highest PCM 32bit 384kHz, DSD 11.2MHz sampling specifications, and harmonic distortion of -120dB.

I can’t forget about the camera, which is rumored to be 20MP. This is much higher than Apple’s 12MP camera in their iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, but we’ll have to see what Samsung does to differentiate their camera. Also rumored is a switch to USB Type C.

I don’t even think I’ll need to say this as with any rumor it’s the same. Take it all with a grain of salt. Maybe the whole salt shaker or even the carton that the salt comes in. Whichever you prefer.
