Joseph Gordon-Levitt Kills It Performing As Janet Jackson On Lip Sync Battle

Entertainment / Movies / Music / TV

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is no stranger to lip sync battles, having previously performed on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, but he really blew away his The Night Before co-stars Anthony Mackie and Seth Rogen during a special episode of Spike’s Lip Sync Battle series.

Following Mackie’s lip sync of MC Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit,” Gordon-Levitt took to the stage and, well… let’s just say put out a mic dropping performance as he looked, dance, and lip synced the part of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation.” Skip ahead to the two minute mark if you want to just see Gordon-Levitt’s performance.

I can say I’ve been enjoying Lip Sync Battle, but this by far takes the cake as Gordon-Levitt really got into it from costume to dance moves, obviously impressing Mackie, Rogen, and host LL Cool J.

Gordon-Levitt’s new movie, The Night Before, is out in theatres this weekend and stars Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, and Anthony Mackie as three lifelong friends, two of whom are Jewish, as they spend Christmas Eve in New York City looking for the Holy Grail of Christmas parties.
