Techland has announced that Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC on Feb. 9, 2016. The Enhanced Edition will include an enhanced version of the original game, the Dying Light: The Following expansion pack, The Bozak Horde and Be the Zombie modes, the Cuisine & Cargo challenge missions, the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, and all the content updates released to date — all for $59.99USD.

“We didn’t want to follow a beaten track and just re-release our game in a new wrapping with the current DLC added on,” explains Maciej Binkowski, lead game designer. “That’s why for the last half year we’ve been working on a ton of enhancements that we’re now going to make available to everyone. We’re adding bonus post-game content, a Nightmare difficulty level, nearly 100 new animations, new NPC models, advanced AI behaviors, and more. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be even bigger.”

If you already own Dying Light, you don’t have to worry about missing out as all current Dying Light players will be able to download the game enhancements to the original game for free. The Dying Light: The Following expansion will be available on the same date as the downloadable content, as part of the Season Pass, and as part of the Enhanced Edition.

Dying Light: The Following introduces players to an untold chapter of Kyle Crane’s story which takes him to a vast new area and introduces new game mechanics, environments and challenges. Players will go outside the quarantine zone for the first tie, and get a glimpse at how the outbreak has ravaged those beyond the walls of Harran in a map the size of Old Town and The Slums combined, and will also get to drive and customize all-terrain dirt buggies.

And if you can’t wait, you can check out the Dying Light: The Following Water Facility Mission Playthrough below.
