YouTube Adds Looping Feature To Desktop Videos

|

For those of you who don’t know, YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world (see infographic at the end). People are visual beasts and there are billions of searches on YouTube a day and a crap ton of videos to search through. Some users even consume their music content through YouTube rather than a streaming music service or dedicated mp3 player. Without a doubt YouTube is huge in many ways we probably don’t realize. Now YouTube has added a feature that is sure to please those of you who can’t be bothered to hit the replay button on that video you love, it’s a new looping feature. Just right click on any YouTube video and choose the looping feature, try it on the video below.

The looping feature could be great for those who watch long concert videos or music videos who want it to repeat without having to babysit the player. Sure some might think this a useless feature but others are likely going to implement it and who doesn’t like to have options? The feature is only on desktop at the moment no word on when it or if it will be on mobile. Check out the infograph below explaining why YouTube is the 2nd largest search engine and let us know in the comments or on Google+, Facebook and Twitter what you think of YouTube’s new looping feature.
