Tom Cruise And Jerry Bruckheimer Talking Top Gun 2?

One of the classic films of the 1980’s may be returning in sequel format as Tom Cruise and Jerry Bruckheimer talk Top Gun 2. Bruckheimer tweeted out a teaser letting fans know that Cruise and he met for a little Top Gun 2 chat. The rumor of a Top Gun sequel has been buzzed about for the past few days but this is a semi-official confirmation that at least there is talk between two of the major players. Top Gun helped propel Tom Cruise into super stardom and the movie remains one of the greatest films of all time.

There had been talk of a Top Gun sequel some time ago but things stalled in 2012 when original director Tony Scott committed suicide (Bruckheimer was a producer). Bruckheimer seems like a logical choice to take up the helm of Top Gun being one of the original producers and having films such as Gone in Sixty Seconds and Beverly Hills Cop under his belt. These are just the beginnings of what may end up coming but it’s starting to sound more like it will happen. We’ll find out more as the talking continues between stars, directors and studios and make sure to bring you the latest news when it hits.
