Swann has unveiled a pair of HD dash cams equipped with G-sensor accident detection, a vehicle safety system that detects sudden acceleration, collisions, and as a result safeguards from fraudulent insurance claims. The Navigator HD Dash Camera and Economy HD Dash Camera are designed to offer peace of mind for drivers while on the road.

The Navigator HD Dash Camera features a wide angle 140° lens that records in full HD (1920x1080p) video, photos, and audio. The dash cam starts to auto-record to the microSD card (not included) when the engine is turned on and when motion is detected. The included GPS locator tracks exact movements and places, with detailed time and location data stamped on the footage. Users can then use the Navigator GPS software on a computer or tablet to easily check driving routes and speed information on the map. With a 2.0″ LCD screen, the Navigator HD Dash Camera supports microSD cards up to 32GB and also features a 400mAh li-ion rechargeable battery.

Like the Navigator HD Dash Camera, the Economy HD Dash Camera also offers full HD 1080p video and audio in real-time, USB connectivity, wide angle 140° lens, and auto recording. It also supports microSD cards up to 32GB, but has a larger 2.7″ LCD screen, and a smaller 120mAh li-ion battery.

Set up of both cameras only takes a few minutes —  simply attach the easy, unobtrusive suction mount to the vehicle’s windscreen. USB connectivity allows users to easily transfer footage to their computer and recharge their device’s battery using the included mini USB cable.
