Looks like Samsung, Sam’s Club, and T-Mobile aren’t the only ones offering a free Gear VR headset when you pre-order either the Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge. Verizon is also joining the team by offering the same headset, but they [Verizon] are also offering a free Gear S2 smartwatch if you don’t want the virtual reality headset. Either one you choose, it’ll be nice to get something for free. Plus, who doesn’t love free stuff?
I’d like to say there’s a catch behind all this, but that might not be the case this time around considering it’s an offer from Verizon. All you really need to do to get either the Gear VR or Gear S2 is to buy the Galaxy S7 or S7 edge on Verizon’s Edge program before March 18th, 2016. Once you get the device, just register your product here. Feel free to bookmark that page for future reference if you do go with this offer. We can’t forget the fine print that likes to hang around, so here it is.

I don’t know about you guys, but getting the Gear S2 might be the better option. Mainly because it’s a higher price than the Gear VR. That’s just my choice, but I bet there are those out there that prefer the VR headset.
