March brings a whole lot of binge-worthy shows to Netflix US, both new and returning. Of course, fans of Marvel’s Daredevil and House of Cards will be thrilled for the new seasons of those shows, as well as a few new Netflix Originals for adults and kids alike — with some Netflix Exclusives thrown in for good measure. If you’re in Canada, check out what’s new on Netflix Canada for the month, otherwise read on to find out what’s new, and what’s leaving, on Netflix in the US for March.

Netflix Originals

The first Netflix Original up this month is of course is the political thriller starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. House of Cards returns for a fourth season, and follows a ruthless politician and his wife who will stop at nothing to conquer Washington, D.C., in this Emmy and Golden Globe-winning political drama.

Cuckoo, a Netflix Original starring Andy Samberg, Greg Davies, and Helen Baxendale, is about a woman who shocks her proper British parents when she marries an American hippie — but it’s just the first in a series of surprises for the family. Seasons 1 and 2 of Cuckoo drop on March 7th. Another comedic Netflix Original, Flaked, has Will Arnett starring as Chip, who does his honest best to stay one step ahead of the lies that prop up his image and his sobriety in Venice, California. Flaked season 1 airs on March 11th.

Another new Netflix Original, Netflix Presents: The Characters, debuts on March 11th. Featuring eight comedians, each one gets the opportunity to create their own 30-minute episodes and do whatever they want. No rules. No limits. On March 16, the second season of Happy Valley starts streaming, in which Yorkshire police sergeant Catherine Cawood pursues the man who assaulted her late daughter, unaware he is now part of a secret kidnapping plot.

March 18th is a busy day for Netflix Originals, when the Jimmy Carr: Funny Business comedy special, the My Beautiful Broken Brain documentary about a filmmaker who suffered a stroke at age 34 and struggles to live an independent life, the return of Pee-wee Herman in Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, and the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil all launch. In the second season, Matt Murdock — a.k.a. Daredevil — is joined by both The Punisher and Elektra in Hell’s Kitchen.

And finally, season 10 of Trailer Park Boys hits Netflix on March 28th. The show continues to follow the booze-fueled misadventures of Ricky, Bubbles, and Julian — three longtime pals and petty serial criminals who run scams from their Nova Scotia trailer park. There’s definitely no shortage of Netflix Originals to binge on this month!

Netflix Original Series For Kids

A pair of LEGO Netflix Originals air for kids starting on March 4th: LEGO Friends: The Power of Friendship and LEGO Bionicle: The Journey to One. In the first, five best friends face adventures side by side in their hometown. Zany antics, love and missteps are better with friends! In LEGO Bionicle, six legendary heroes find themselves on an epic quest as they harness the power of nature’s elements to defeat the forces of evil.

Another Netflix Original for Kids, Dinotrux returns for a second season where kids can enjoy  watching Ty Rux — half dinosaur, half construction truck — and his crew come face-t0-face with the evil D-Structs. Both Dinotrux and the second season of the lovable Popples return on March 11th.

On March 18th, The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show returns for a second season, and the third season of VeggieTales In the House returns on March 25th to round out the Netflix Originals for Kids in March.

Exclusively on Netflix

Quite a few shows are coming exclusively to Netflix as well in March, including season one of The Returned which follows the lives of a group of people from a small town who, long presumed dead, suddenly re-emerge as they were before they left, to the joy and confusion of their loved ones. But as the resurrected try to assimilate, some question whether they’re who they claim to be. The Returned debuts on March 9th.

The second season of Digimon Fusion returns on March 8th exclusively on Netflix for the kids.

Finders Keepers starts streaming on March 15th, and follows the bizzare true story of Shannon Whisnant who finds an amputated leg in the grill he purchased at an auction. Sucked into a mass-media whirlpool, Whisnant decides to make the most of his moment — but then the limb’s owner shows up.

Other Netflix Exclusives coming this month include Good Burger and series 17 of Midsomer Murders. Finally, on March 22nd, The Art of Organized Noize rounds out the Netflix Exclusives for March. This documentary includes interviews from Andre 3000, Puff Daddy, Future, Ludacris, CeeLo, and more and follows the rise of Organized Noize, pioneers of the Dirty South music movement.
