HTC 10, that’s what it appears HTC will be calling their next flagship smartphone which was leaked via a promo video on YouTube. HTC has had their ups and downs in the smartphone market over the years. They seem to do some things really great only to spoil their hand by following up with some awful things. One thing is for certain though, the company continues to claw and drag itself along hoping to be a hit again. The HTC 10 is pretty slick looking in this promo video so take a look at what HTC is offering up this go around.

The back of the HTC 10 certainly hearkens to its older siblings the M7 and M8 but the chamfered edges are much more pronounced on this device. It would seem having those steeper edges could help with gripability. HTC also looks to be offering the 10 up in three different colors, gold, silver and dark grey. USB Type-C looks to be the charging method of choice, which most everyone should be switching to in the near future.

Gone are the dual front facing speakers HTC was hailed for on the M7 and M8, instead the speaker is on the bottom alongside the charging port and microphone. On the front is your earpiece as well as a physical home button, which could hold a finger print scanner. Engadget says the HTC 10 is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 820 processor as well as 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. All rumors and speculation but the promo video does look legit, for now.

What do you think of the leaked HTC 10 video? Does HTC have a chance to break back into the good graces of Android buyers? Would you buy this phone? Let us know your thoughts and comments below or hit us up on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
