Gears of War 4 is still a ways off with its October launch, but the pre-orders are starting including a Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition pre-order bundle which includes early access to the game. The Ultimate Edition includes Gears of War 4, of course, as well as the Gears of War 4 Season Pass which includes the exclusive Vintage VIP Pack, one year of unlimited access to new maps, early access to an exclusive VIP playlist, and six Gear Packs, and a Vintage Del character skin which unlocks at launch for use in multiplayer matches.
The early access will give gamers 4 days of early access, allowing them to play the game starting October 7, 2016 and experience the latest saga in the Gears of War 4 franchise before anyone else. The game picks up some time after the events of Gears of War 3 and follows JD Fenix — son of Marcus Fenix — and his friends, Kait and Del, as they seek to discover the source of a new enemy after narrowly escaping an attack on their village.
The Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition will run you $99.99USD or $129.99CAD, and will require 70-80GB on your Xbox One when it’s released on October 11, 2016.
