Blizzard Announces 50% XP Boost For Heroes Of The Storm Anniversary

Gaming / PC

To celebrate a year since the official launch of Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard has announced a 50% XP boost for all players. Blizzard’s MOBA came out of open beta on June 2nd of last year, so between June 2nd and June 14th, players will receive a 50% XP boost for any games played.

It’s hard to believe that we’re approaching a full year since the official launch of Heroes of the Storm on June 2 of 2015. Since that date, we’ve introduced fifteen new Heroes, four new Battlegrounds, tons of new skins and mounts, and much more! To celebrate this momentous occasion, we’ll be introducing some exciting new promotions to the Nexus.

If you’ve been playing over the past year, you certainly can see that Blizzard has been busy with new Heroes, Battlegrounds, skins, and more. In addition to the 50% XP boost, anyone who logs in during the event will also be gifted the First Anniversary Portrait to use on their Heroes account. A First Anniversary Bundle will also be made available and will feature eight Heroes (The Butcher, Kerrigan, Artanis, Arthas, Uther, Lt. Morales, Xul, and Sgt. Hammer), Tyrael’s Charger mount, and a 7-Day Stimpack.

If you haven’t checked out Heroes of the Storm yet, there’s no better time to jump into the fray.
