Joe Perry and Monster to collaborate on new sound gear

Joe Perry is an icon of rock and roll, co-founder of Aerosmith and arguably one of the best guitar players on the face of the planet. When you hear classic songs like “Dream On,” “Walk This Way,” and “Sweet Emotion” you can’t help but admire the man’s talent. Monster has been making audio products for the past 36 years and has serviced some of the biggest names in the industry. Noel Lee is the brainchild behind Monster and has been a part of the audio scene for a long time. We’ve reviewed several Monster products here and we think they sound fantastic! Today Monster has announced a new collaboration with Joe Perry.

They will pursue a broad collaboration that promises to enhance the listening experience for rock and roll fans worldwide. The new collaboration builds on a personal and music industry relationship between Lee and Perry that spans decades and brings together two kindred spirits with diverse skill sets.

No other details were given about this partnership but given that Joe Perry is a rock and roller. I would expect a line of headphones that are tuned to that style of music. Headphone companies are starting to tune their cans to certain styles that people gravitate to for a better listening experience.

It should be interesting to see what Joe Perry and Monster develop and how well the partnership does in the market. We’ll be sure to try and update this article once we find out more about what the plans are. We’ll also be sure to try and get our mitts on whatever these guys are working on so we can review them right here on Techaeris.
