The latest episodic game from Telltale Games, BATMAN – The Telltale Series, will be available digitally worldwide starting on August 2nd, with a special Season Pass Disc coming to stores on September 13th in North America. The disc version will be available in Europe shortly after on September 16th.

The first of five episodes is titled “Episode 1: ‘Realm of Shadows,'” and will be available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS devices, and Android devices.

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale’s vision of Batman will feature an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Additional cast and characters will be revealed as the season progresses.

In addition to announcing the release date, Telltale Games has also unveiled the world premiere trailer showcasing the look and some of the story behind the game. Check it out below.

Personally I’m excited to see that the game has been given a Mature 17+ rating, hopefully we’ll be getting a pretty dark story throughout the five episodes.
