1byone makes quite a few different products, and headphones are just one of the many products they make. Everyone has one brand they go to for headphones, whether it’s in-ear, on ear, or over the ear, and 1byone isn’t your normal brand that people hear about. Even though 1byone isn’t a top dog brand, they’ve done a great job with these headphones. Let’s take a look at just how well these in-ear headphones did in our 1byone In-Ear Pro Headphones review.

Design

In-ear headphones come in all different shapes and sizes, that we know for sure. At first look the design of the headphones looks a little weird and you might wonder how it’ll fit in your ear. The outside transparent shape fills in that empty part of your ear that other headsets may not. The gel ear tips fit nicely in your ears once you have the right size ear tip attached, the gel piece that comes on by default may not fit one’s ear right away. The inside of the headset is marked with L and R, and on the right side of the headphones you’ll see the dedicated mic and music switcher button. Pressing the button once will play/pause the music, two taps will skip to the next song, and three taps will skip to the previous song. The wire itself has a plastic coated feel to it, but also feels like it won’t rip apart if you pull too hard or if the wire gets caught on something by accident. It’ll be difficult to tear the inside wiring with normal use of these ear buds.

Along with the headphones come a black carrying case with 1byone’s logo. It’ll hold your headphones when you’re not using them and has room to store to the other gel ear pieces, shirt clip, and foam ear pieces.

Sound

Sound quality is a big deal for everyone who is looking for headphones on the market. These in-ear pro headphones do  a really good job on sound quality when it came to my music. The music I listen to is typically heavier than what’s played on the radio or other’s playlists on their devices, but the headphones didn’t have too much bass or treble which was nice for once, as the other headsets I have lean towards one side or the other when it comes to sound. I even played Pokemon Y and Omega Ruby on my 3DS which is more instrumental and calm and the sound was nice. During battles I was able to hear things I couldn’t without headphones (which might be me) and the sound was still great.

On the inside of the headphones are double driver units which will output more sound than your average headset or headphones. All in all, the headphones will push enough bass out and provide the right amount of sound without using a lot of power. Even though the design is small along with the driver unit, it puts more than enough sound in your ear than you’d think.

Call Quality

Just about any pair of headphones you purchase these days will end up having a dedicated mic/song switcher on it. The in-ear pros come with it and it does alright. It’s not the best, but not bad either. I had multiple phone call conversations with them and some said they could hear me just fine and other could just barely hear me. Even moving the mic closer to my mouth was a little help for those that could not hear me too well. Aside from that, I can hear everyone on the other end loud and clear with no static.

Price/Value

Prices can range from $5 to $50+ for in-ear headphones, but 1byone is pricing these bad boys at $20.99USD and that’s not a bad price point at all, especially since you’re getting a really decent pair of headphones.

Wrap Up

I’m not a big fan of in-ear headphones, but I did get used to them over time and ended up enjoying these in-ear headphones by 1byone. I’ll continue to use these until something new comes along. This is one brand that I’ll recommend to friends and family members who are looking for a new pair of headphones considering the price is inexpensive.
