T-Mobile could be shipping the newest flagship phone from Samsung as early as this weekend. This news comes to us via another website but with a little searching the news isn’t only in one place it’s in multiple forums and comment threads all over the web. Here’s what we know: First, a TmoNews reader found out via email from his bank that his card had been charged for his Samsung Galaxy Note7 pre-order. Second, we know from recent history that T-Mobile doesn’t mind shipping phones early. Some people that pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge earlier this year reported getting their devices a full week before the day they were supposed to drop. Third, this makes some of us really happy.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is the latest in the Note lineup and is the most advanced phone to be released thus far in 2016. To some people the Note7 signifies a small jump in advancements while to others, like us tech geeks, the new features are interesting enough to require in real life inspection. From the claim of HDR video compatible screen to the first iris scanner on a phone to an all new S Pen the new Note7 is touting some pretty impressive features. It’s no wonder that people are hungry to get their hands on this new phone and some online forums are exploding with information about the Note7 pre-orders shipping early. Most of the chatter is centered around the T-Mobile pre-orders. Some have said they have received texts about their order being processed and others have said their credit or debit cards have been billed today. Typically that means we should see confirmation of shipments going out early in the week next week which will be days ahead of schedule.
