New startup aims to offer “revolutionary active noise cancelling earbuds”

The company’s goal is to give regular consumers more affordable access to sophisticated noise-cancellation earbuds that usually have a higher price tag.

A new startup is entering the already crowded headphone market, and is hoping to develop a line of active noise cancelling earbuds and headphones that will redefine the ANC headset market. Linner Electronics has established headquarters in Silicon Valley and Shenzhen, China and is partnering with ams AG, a leading sensor firm. Linner will be integrating ams AG’s chip technology into their active noise cancelling earbuds which will offer the highest noise reduction across a wider range of frequencies than any mainstream headphones.

The company’s goal is to give regular consumers such as students, commuters, workers, gym goers, and nature lovers affordable access to sophisticated noise-cancellation earbuds that usually have a higher price tag. Linner earbuds, the lightest on the market, are one of the most effective at blocking outside noise thanks to its technology that reduce up to 26dB of sound across a frequency range of 45Hz – 3kHZ, five times that of most consumer headphones on the market.

“The pleasure of listening to crystal-clear sound even in a noisy environment has in the past been enjoyed only by users of high-end headphones. Linner has brought ANC functionality to anyone seeking noise-free listening without fear of breaking their bank,” said Bond Zhao, co-founder and chief marketing officer, Linner. “We know that once they experience ANC, they will never go back to the old technology.”

The Linner earbuds will be launching on Kickstarter in September. The earbuds will offer high-performance sound quality, secure fit, and hearing protection in a lightweight package at an exceptionally affordable price. The company also indicates that the ANC technology used in their earbuds will block out 95% of ambient sounds, giving users an exceptional audio experience/immersive sound experience.
