Netflix has definitely been on a streak with their original content, mostly series, lately and they’ve just released the trailer for ARQ, an upcoming Netflix original movie. Debuting later this month, ARQ is set in a dystopian society.

In a future where corporations battle against sovereign nations over the last of the world’s energy supplies, young engineer Renton and Hannah find themselves attempting to save an experimental energy technology that could end the wars. The catch is, the technology has created a time loop that causes them to relive a deadly home invasion over and over again. They must figure out how to stop the time loop and come out of it alive.

Check out the official trailer below:

ARQ defintely looks like a more action packed and suspenseful Groundhog Day. Starring Robbie Amell (The Flash) and Rachael Taylor (Jessica Jones), ARQ is a Netflix original film written and directed by Tony Elliott (Orphan Black). The film is an official selection of the 2016 Toronto Film Festival.

What do you think about the ARQ trailer? Are you going to be watching it on Netflix when it launches on September 16th? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google, Twitter, or Facebook.
