There’s no question that Netflix is making its mark with original content these days, and what better night to showcase some of their talent than on the night of the Emmys.

From Queen Elizabeth to Claire Underwood to Kimbecile — sorry, KIMMY — Schmidt, they rule by their own rules.

As you can see from the video above, it starts and ends with a peek at The Crown, an upcoming period drama about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II starring Claire Foy as the young queen. Another strong female cast show of course is the long running Orange is the New Black, which recently entered its sixth season. Based on the memoirs of Piper Kerman who spent a year in a minimum security prison, OITNB has a huge main cast starring Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, the Emmy Award winning Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, and Taryn Manning (to name a few), as well as some big recurring roles by Laverne Cox, Ruby Rose, Beth Fowler, and more.

From comedy specials like Ali Wong: Baby Cobra, cooking documentaries like Chef’s Table, the lovable Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper), and strong female characters like Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) in the Peabody Award winning Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Claire Underwood (portrayed by Golden Globe winner Robin Wright) in House of Cards, Netflix definitely covers the gamut of strong female leads who all rule in their own special ways.
