Spectre brings LED notifications to your iPhone case

Have you ever put your iPhone down on a table face first and left the phone on silent? I know I have. I also know I’ve missed notifications on the screen because I’ve done this. The Spectre case aims to enhance your iPhone experience by providing a solution to those moments with LED notifications in cool designs. The Spectre case is super light and thin but still adds protection to your iPhone. The company plans on making the Spectre case for a good variety of iPhone models including the iPhone 5/5S/SE/6/6S/7 and iPhone 6/6S/7 Plus.

Spectre will be thinner and more durable than previous cases. At only 2.7mm, you’ll hardly notice that Spectre is attached to your iPhone and using a unique blend of ingredients, Spectre is made to provide bulletproof protection.

Spectre will illuminate like no other case before. Utilizing new backlight technology, Nolo has improved its design so images are brighter and more vibrant. They’ve increased the duration illumination takes place, to give users more time to notice a call or message is incoming. And they have also broadened the lighting palette so now green, red, blue, white and orange illumination is available. Spectre connects to an iPhone via Low Energy 4.0 Bluetooth – the Bluetooth itself will only nibble away approximately 5% of the iPhone’s battery.

The case seems pretty slick and if could be useful if you tend to miss notifications or if you’re in a place where you must have your phone on silent. The one thing to consider, even though the company says it’s only 5%, is the battery consumption active Bluetooth will eat.

What do you think of the Spectre case? You can support the Kickstarter which has 20 days to go and is just over 50% funded. Let us know what you think in the comments below or on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
