We’ve had our fair share of Master & Dynamic headphones come through the doors at Techaeris HQ and have been quite impressed with each new offering. Today, Master & Dynamic has taken the wraps off of their newest product: the MW50 On Ear Headphones. The MW50’s are the second set of wireless headphones in Master & Dynamic’s catalog.
The MW50 headphones join the MW60 Over Ear Headphones in the ranks of wireless products from Master & Dynamic. The MW50s feature many of the same characteristics that we’ve come to appreciate from the company. These headphones will be built to last using quality materials such as premium leathers, stainless steel, and aluminum. They will also include Master & Dynamic’s signature lambskin-covered memory foam ear pads for comfort.
MW50 On Ear Headphones feature the same tactile buttons found on the MW60 Over Ear model. These are the types of buttons found on luxury timepieces, though here you’ll be controlling volume or play/pause. These headphones are going to keep the music flowing too. The battery should last around 16 hours, and will charge quickly using a USB-C port. If you’re out of juice, you can still listen to your tunes using the included heavy-duty woven cable (provided your phone still includes a headphone jack). These headphones won’t just look good though…
Custom 40mm beryllium drivers will work to create Master & Dynamic’s signature rich, warm sound profile. Master & Dynamic have also included their patent-pending milled aluminum external antenna which allows for a much longer range of connectivity. This antenna will let you get up to 100 feet away from your phone, tablet, or other connected device which is roughly three times the industry standard. I can only imagine how fantastic these will sound based on the experience that I had with their ME05 earbuds.
The MW50 On Ear Headphones are available as masterdynamic.com for $449. You’ll be able to choose from silver with black leather, or silver with brown leather.
