Indiegogo and Kickstarter projects have long been a source for many of our articles and today we’re on our second feature. This time we found the ORBI Prime glasses which are more than just a pair of ordinary sunglasses. The ORBI Prime glasses are loaded up with 1080p cameras that allow the user to make full immersive 360° HD content just by wearing them. Think of it like wearing four 1080p GoPro’s on your face but a bit more stylish.

Designed to be powerful, aesthetic and comfortable, ORBI Prime lets anyone create incredible 360º videos and images. With our industry-leading video-stitching and editing software, you can shoot and share your experiences across your favorite social networks with built-in WiFi. 90 minutes of recording time and a water-resistant design makes ORBI Prime an ideal choice for your next adventure.

The really cool part of these glasses is the built-in video stabilization which the company says makes the results smooth and crisp. We know how janky a smartphone video can be when you’re running with your phone, even with OIS or EIS, but it seems the ORBI Prime are a step better when it comes to stabilization. The project is already 161% funded and the next available package to get into a pair of these glasses is $349USD. The price goes up from there and it looks like (as of this article) just over 200 left at the $349USD price point.

These look like they could pretty fun for those adventurers who like to GoPro their journeys. You can leave mounts and tripods behind and just throw these on your face and with the 90 minute record time, you should have plenty of juice to capture what you need to capture. It’s an interesting project and we’ve reached out to the company for a review unit and will keep you posted if we get one.
