We’ve sung the praises of Windows 10 for awhile now. It’s really a very solid operating system, and as Microsoft’s “last” OS they’ve been supporting and improving it pretty consistently. We’ve seen great deals on Windows 10 Pro OEM keys in the past, and today there’s another deal for you to pick up. You’ll spend a mere $15 to snag an OEM key for Windows 10 Pro.
There are a few things you’ll need to keep in mind with this particular key. An OEM key means you’ll be able to install Windows 10 Pro on one machine, but you won’t be able to reinstall it on any other machines. You will also not be able to use the Pro key to upgrade a Home install of Windows 10. This is a pretty great deal if you’re planning on building a new PC in the near future, or if you’ve got an older PC running an older OS that you’d like to upgrade — provided it meets the necessary requirements to run Windows 10.
To get the deal, you simply need to head over to SCDKEYS.com and purchase your key. I’m not personally familiar with the site, though some commenters on Slickdeals that have used them in the past say they’re legit, though you may run into a few easily surmountable issues:
– Had to voice activate Windows (couldn’t just do it over the internet) – After talking with some nice support lady in the Pacific somewhere, got everything up and running. No issues since.
– For another purchase, SCDKey wanted me to send a picture of my ID (with all my key details covered). They wanted to ensure I was a real person, I guess… (and perhaps they have issues with fraud?) – I’ve had no issues.
