Just because it’s Christmas weekend doesn’t mean that we’ll forget about letting our readers know where Xur is in Destiny. With “The Dawning” event still in progress for its second week, people have probably gotten pretty far in completing their Record Book: Competitive Spirit.
Xur is located at the Tower again, but this time he’s over by the Speaker in front of the giant mystery door like he was back on December 9th to the 11th. Once again, Xur isn’t dressed up in anything festive like the other NPC, but that’s not going to bum out anyone’s holiday cheer. To reach Xur, head to the Tower from the directory and make your way left. Go down the multitude of stairs and turn right when you see the giant door. He’ll be there to sell what he’s offering.
This weekend Xur is selling:
- Legacy Body Engram – 29 Strange Coins
- Empyrean Bellicose (helmet) for Titan Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Knucklehead Radar (helmet) for Hunter Class – 13 Strange Coins
- The Ram (helmet) for Warlock Class – 13 Strange Coins
- Plan C (fusion rifle) – 23 Strange Coins
With Xur not offering ornaments anymore (ICYMI), he’ll still be offering the usual upgrade to your Sparrow, which includes the Plasma Drive or the Stealth Drive on it for 23 Strange Coins. There’s also Heavy Ammo Synthesis for 1 or 3 Strange Coins, Three of Coins (5) for 7 Strange Coins, or Glass Needles, Mote of Light, and Exotic Shard for 7 Strange Coin.
I’ve been waiting a long time for Xur to bring The Ram to the table, but now my time has come to purchase it. I haven’t used the Plan C fusion rifle yet, so that’s also on my list of things to get, but what are your thoughts about this weekend’s Xur offerings?
