Deals / Entertainment / Movies

Both services are offering a large variety of movies, including major motion pictures from 2016 for your perusal.

Much of the world is sitting down for Christmas dinner with their friends and family, or otherwise celebrating the holidays however they may see fit. If you’ve survived dinner, presents, and whatever else the holidays have thrown at you, you deserve to be rewarded, right? Google Play and Amazon Video have just the thing, allowing you to rent any one movie from either service for only $0.99. You’ll have to redeem this offer by January 23rd, and while most movies should be eligible, some exclusions do apply.

To redeem this offer, first log on to Google Play Movies, or Amazon Video and choose the movie you’d like to rent (or just get one from each!). There are a couple different steps required for each service, let’s start with Google Play:

Discover new movie releases on Google Play! Get any one movie rental of your choice for just 99¢. Choose from the titles below or from thousands of eligible movies on the store, including 2016’s biggest hits. The discount will be added to your account and applied at checkout.

Amazon Video is only very slightly more difficult:

Step 1: Click on the digital movie you wish to rent for $0.99 from the selection below.
Step 2: Click “More Purchase Options” and enter the promotional code “MOVIE99”.
Step 3: Once the promotional code has been applied, click “Rent Movie”. Please note: While onsite pricing will not reflect your discount, your order history will show the promotional credit applied.

Both services are offering a large variety of movies, including major motion pictures from 2016 for your perusal. Both services also conveniently have the same expiration date for this promotion. January 23rd is the date. So head on over to Google Play Movies, or Amazon Video and see what they’ve got. Tell us what you’ll be renting in the comment section below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
