Heacket aims to keep you warm without being bulky

|

Living in the Chicago area I am all too familiar with cold weather and frankly, someday, I’d like to move. Since that isn’t happening anytime soon, the Heacket seems like it could be a good solution to my dislike of heavy winter clothes. The product is a heated jacket that is super thin and super light eliminating the bulk that goes along with winter coats.

Heacket is the world’s ultimate heated jacket, powered by a strong, flexible heated panel, equipped with three controlled heating zones. The outer shells are built with durable fabrics that are wind and water resistant. Heacket will keep you warm and comfortable in even the lowest of temperatures. While, traditional heated clothing is built with heating wire that is fragile and susceptible to damage, you can maintain your active lifestyle in the Heacket.

While I am more than positive that other parts of the country have it much worse than Chicago, I don’t live there. The sheer relief of shedding off the triple layers of coats and sweatshirts would make life a bit more tolerable during the winter months. While this is a grand idea, it would be great to see them made for more than just men and women. Having kids, I can tell you that wrestling with so many coats in the car is a pain. If kids could wear something like this, it would cut down on the amount of coats we need to haul around (coats that never seem to stay on in the car).

The Indiegogo campaign link is below and the company is looking at a March 2017 delivery. It looks like some of the perks are gone at the moment, so you’ll have to check out the link and see what perks are there for you to take advantage of. The expected MSRP of the coat will be $249USD but they do have a “couples perk” which gives you a his and her jacket for $209USD. Check out the Indiegogo link below for more.
