It’s time to make an Alpha Flight movie with Peter Dinklage as Puck

Alpha Flight

Dinklage is such a great actor with so much versatility I think he can totally pull off Puck.

So this morning someone posted an article discussing how Peter Dinklage may be playing Pip in Avengers: Infinity War and that got me thinking. Dinklage would perfect for the role of Puck in a full on Alpha Flight movie! So okay, the mainstream audience may not be familiar with Alpha Flight, but they weren’t that familiar with Guardians of the Galaxy either. If you aren’t familiar with Alpha Flight, they tie in heavily with Wolverine and the X-Men and have some of the best characters of any comic made (in my opinion of course). The characters were initially developed as a backstory to Wolverine’s origins in X-Men #120 in 1979 but were then developed into their own series in 1983-1994.

Puck and Guardian are probably the two best characters on the team with Sasquatch, Snowbird, the twins, and the rest of the team bringing up the rear. Dinklage is such a great actor with so much versatility I think he can totally pull off Puck. Yes, there are probably some challenges to overcome in making an Alpha Flight movie. The largest being that they’re not widely known, but I think with the right cast, the right story, and perhaps a tie in with a future X-Men or Wolverine movie, it could work.

I dunno, maybe I’m reaching for straws here? I do know that I was a big fan of the comic back in the 80’s and the characters were always entertaining and had some very good backstories themselves. I don’t think a movie will ever be made but I think it should. Either way, if Dinklage does play Pip in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, that’s just as exciting!
