It’s only a couple weeks out, and we finally have a Mass Effect: Andromeda launch trailer! BioWare and EA have been teasing us with gameplay and teaser videos over the past couple months, and the launch trailer fills in a few story details that may have been missing before.
You are on a mission to find a new home for humanity. Explore dangerous worlds, keep your crew alive, and unravel the mysteries of Andromeda. The journey begins now. How far will you go?
As you can see in the launch trailer above, there’s going to be no shortage of action, exploration, and romance in Mass Effect: Andromeda. While it seems to be mostly comprised of cutscenes, it should be a pretty decent story given previous Mass Effect games and BioWare’s track record. Given the storyline, the choice of music for the trailer — “Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man — is pretty fitting. One question I have though is this: where are the Quarians? After all, most of the other races in the Mass Effect universe make an appearance in the trailer… I guess we’ll have to wait and see when the game is released in a couple weeks.
