If you don’t know Honor, they’re the subsidy of Huawei offering lower-priced phones with some pretty decent specs. I mean, take a look at last years Honor 8 or the Honor 6X. Both good phones with decent specs and price points. Honor (Huawei) is now looking to announce the next gen Honor device on June 12th which has now been confirmed by Honor. On that day, the Honor 9 will be born.

“Beautiful and Colorful”

From the poster above, you can see the date the announcement is set along with some Chinese words not everyone can understand, so here I am to help you thanks to Android Authority. “Beautiful and Colorful” is the tagline and while that can mean a number of things for phones these days, the colorful aspect is leaning towards a few different colors to choose from if you’re looking into purchasing the phone. The colors the phone comes in are: black, blue, gray, sky blue, yellow and white.

A quick run down of specs from TENAA:

June 12th is next week Monday so the event isn’t too far off, but shortly after the phone is unveiled, Honor will be having a separate event in Europe on June 27th to launch the new smartphone. Price at this point could be anything really, so we will just have to wait until next week Monday to see what it will be. I don’t foresee it being expensive, maybe somewhere around $350 to $500 USD at the most, but take my guessing with a grain of salt. Are you guys interested in the Honor 9 coming out?
