With the Jurassic Park film series set to continue next summer with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Frontier Developments has announced Jurassic World Evolution at gamsecom 2017. What could possibly go wrong?
“As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer, Jonny Watts. “We’re excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.”
Of course, the game will be based on the Univeral Pictures film franchise and lets gamers create and manage their own Jurassic World theme park. In it, you’ll be in control of operations on the island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding Muertes Archipelago islands. Through the game, not only will you be able to construct attractions, research facilities, and containment facilities, but you’ll also be able to bioengineer new dinosaur breeds. The game will adapt to the choices players make, and, as is true with the movies, “spectacular challenges” will arise when “life finds a way.”
The game is scheduled to release next summer on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. What do you think about a Jurassic World simulation park building game? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
