Your free weekend of Rainbow Six: Siege starts August 24th

Time and time again, games will become free just for a weekend to get more people to play that specific game or try it out if they’ve been thinking about purchasing it. Ubisoft is letting players play Rainbow Six: Siege for free starting tomorrow Thursday, August 24th until Sunday, August 27th.

Recently Rainbox Six has hit the 20 million registered player milestone, so it’s only fair that Ubisoft offers the game for free during the weekend right? Definitely, plus you can be another tally to possibly another milestone by playing this weekend on either Xbox, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam and UPlay). If you do end up playing during the free weekend, your progress will automatically transfer over to the full game if you do end up purchasing it at 50% off from August 4th to September 4th.

If you’re a PC gamer, you’ll be able to join in the Technical Test Server running “Operation Blood Orchid” on August 29th, giving those on PC the chance to play three new Operations and the new Hong Kong theme park map before the initial release date of September 5th for “Operation Blood Orchid.” This will be the biggest update that Rainbow Six: Siege has had including over 1000 fixes on maps, lighting, optimization of Operation data, improvements on resolution and appearance of the game, and more.

Will anyone be playing Rainbow Six: Siege during this free weekend? Those who already have the game, will you be getting “Operation Blood Orchid” when it comes out on September 5th? Feel free to tell us by leaving your comments down below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
