They say membership has its privileges and unlike previous weeks, including last week’s “Heavy Duty Steering,” this week features two VIP exclusive challenges and two challenges open to everyone. It’s also already going underway and runs through this weekend. During the Forza Horizon 3 #Forzathon August 22-27th event, you can snag yourself up to three vehicles including a pair of Porsches (VIP only) and a Mercedes-Benz.
This #Forzathon event started on August 22nd at 12:01 a.m. PT and closes at 11:59 pm PT on August 27th, so you have until the wee hours of August 28th (depending on your time zone) in order to complete the challenges in this extended #Forzathon.

- Heating Up: Win a Race in a Super Hot Hatch to win the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG
- Automotive Royalty: VIP Exclusive – Win a Race in a VIP car to win the Porsche 914/6
- Neck and Neck: Complete 5 Head-to-Head Races to receive 35,000 CR
- Velvet Ropes: VIP Exclusive – Complete a Co-op Event in a VIP car to win the Porsche 928 GTS
Easy stuff aside first… the Mercedes-Benz is easy enough to snag, there’s plenty of races and Super Hot Hatch vehicles to choose from. As for the Head-to-Head races, simply drive up behind other Drivatars and press X to challenge them to a quick Head-to-Head race — you don’t even have to win them to get the credits.
Now for the VIP Exclusive events. First, you’ll need to use a VIP car. The complete list of cars that should work (there have been issues with valid vehicles not working in previous #Forzathongs) include:
- 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV
- 2016 Koenigsegg Regera
- 2015 Ferrari F12tdf
- 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020
- 2015 Ford Falcon GT F 351
The first Porsche, the 914/6, is easy enough to win… just win a race in one of the above cars (we won with the Aventador and the achievement popped no problem). The second, the 928 GTS, is a bit trickier as you’ll have to find someone to party up with and complete a Co-op Event with. Once you’ve partied up, bring up the menu, hit the Social tab, then the Co-op Campaign tile. You can also choose to find a session, although it’s a big crap shoot for finding a random session doing the proper class events. Your best bet, if you don’t have a friend playing, is to hit up the LFG tab on the Forza Horizon 3 Game Hub on your Xbox One which is how we easily scored our 928 GTS with no problems.
