As IFA 2017 continues, the announcements just keep coming. Up next, we hear from Marshall, who’s reinvigorated their classic lineup of audio equipment with some really nice headphones and now, a brand new line of multi-room speakers. The Marshall Wireless Multi-Room Speaker System has three sizes to fit any size room, and expandable system to fit into multiple rooms at once.
Marshall is bringing three brand new speakers to the table, each just a little bigger, louder, and stronger than the last. The smallest of the bunch is the Acton. This will be your desktop or bookshelf speaker. It’s made to fit into tight spaces yet should still put out powerful sound.
Up next is the Stanmore. Bigger, and touted as the most versatile speaker in the Marshall line-up, Stanmore is said to be packing some advanced components that give you the high-performance sound that is the hallmark of the Marshall name.
The biggest and baddest of the bunch is Woburn. Dual 5.25″ woofers and 110 watts of power are going to put out some huge sound. Marshall describes the speaker as hitting “high trebles cleanly, handles low bass with ease and has a clear, lifelike mid range.”
Each of these speakers features the iconic Marshall cabinet design, with each looking like it could easily belong on stage with your favorite rock band. Each speaker has multiple connection options as well, including built-in Chromecast support, Spotify Connect, Airplay, RCA inputs, 3.5mm audio input, or Bluetooth audio. Seven one-touch preset buttons give you fast access to your favorite artists, albums, or playlists on Spotify or your favorite internet radio stations.
