The new LEGO Millenium Falcon will be out September 14th

If there’s one thing I really like doing in my spare time when I have the extra funds to purchase, is building LEGO sets. I’d be lying if I said that I haven’t spent more than enough money on these building blocks, but they’re so addicting and loads of fun to play with or set on a stand or in a glass case for display. With Star Wars: The Last Jedi coming out in December, it’s time for LEGO to put out some of their newest Star Wars sets for all the kids (and adults) to buy.

LEGO is proud to announce that on September 14th, you can purchase their largest LEGO Millenium Falcon — and largest set in general — with a whopping 7,500 pieces giving more detail to the Corellian spaceship than all the other ones that have been out in the past. Four new characters will be included in the set, so you’ll have the option of playing out the older Star Wars series with Han, Leia, Chewy, and 3PO or take flight with this generation Star Wars characters, an older Han Solo, Rey, Finn, and BB-8.

Here’s the kicker: the price for this set is $800USD which definitely won’t be easy to part with… but just think, you will be getting the biggest set LEGO has made. You’ll get to open individual hull panels to access the detailed interior while retaining the overall exterior appearance, a rear compartment featuring the engine room with hyperdrive and console, a 4-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy, and the ability to change square/round sensor dishes, and lots more.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m excited to see what this looks like in person, but I won’t be spending $800 on set that may end up collecting some dust on my shelf or dresser. What do you guys think about LEGO’s new Star Wars Millenium Falcon set of 7,500 pieces? Do you have plans for purchasing it? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
