Forza Motorsport 7 goes gold, gets commercial and demo date

Gaming / PC / Xbox

It’s almost here! Forza Motorsport 7 has gone gold and Turn 10 Studios has released the first commercial for the upcoming game as well as announced an official demo for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

I’ll have to admit, I grinned a little — o.k., a lot — when I realized what was happening in the commercial above, which features Comedian and CarCast host Adam Corolla and professional driver Ken Block. Definitely a fun angle with some pretty exotic cars, including Ken Block’s custom-built Ford Mustang “Hoonicorn.” Of course, the Hoonicorn is included in the Hoonigan Car Pack for free when you preorder the game — and you also get the pack for free in Forza Horizon 3.

As is usually the case, the upcoming Forza game is also getting a demo ahead of the game’s release. The demo will feature three unique racing experiences and will be available on September 19th for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. The three races that you’ll be able to demo include:

  • Driving the Porsche 911 GT2 RS cover car on the brand-new Dubai circuit
  • Hitting the Mugello circuit in Italy in the massive Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck (new to Forza Motorsport 7)
  • Navigating the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit in a thunderstorm in the Nissan NISMO GT-R LM

The demo will also let you set the difficulty levels, as well as adjust the demo to fit your PC’s performance capabilities if playing on Windows 10.

Are you looking forward to playing Forza Motorsport 7 on October 3rd? Are you going to be checking out the demo? What did you think about the commercial? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
