Super Beat Sports for Nintendo Switch gets October release date

Super Beat Sports, the upcoming sports-themed musical mini-games collection for the Nintendo Switch from Harmonix, creators of Rock Band, has been given a release date. The game will launch on October 12th for Nintendo’s latest console.

Featuring a variety of colorful levels, songs, characters, and costumes, players must swing, volley, and hit to the beat using the Joy-Con — complete with HD Rumble support. Once you get good enough at Net BallWhacky BatRhythm RacketBuddy Ball, and Gobble Golf, you can check out the bonus Pro Mode. Each game is playable alone or with friends for even more crazy, musical fun. Each game also runs at 60 frames per second in all of the Switch’s modes which include TV, tabletop, and handheld.

A couple of “IRL” (in real life) videos for Net Ball and Whacky Bat have also been released in advance of the October 12th release date. Check them out below:
