T-Mobile Waives $25 Deposit On Free Router For Limited Time

The T-mobile Personal Cellspot that was announced last month is finally coming available. Starting September 24, you’ll be able to pick one up in store, or order online, and pay only a $25 deposit. But(!) if you call T-mobile technical support they will process your order now and waive the $25 deposit.
It’s worth noting that you don’t own the Cellspot, you’re borrowing it while you have T-mobile service.

We generally like T-Mobile in these parts and found it shocking that the FTC is alleging that the Uncarrier may have charged users millions of dollars in bogus fees. Read the AP report after the break.

Breaking: Sprint And T-Mobile Close To Merger Agreement

CNBC is reporting that Sprint and T-Mobile are very close to a summer merger. This rumor has been floating around for a few months now with many T-Mobile customers praying this would not happen. The differences in service and customer service between the two companies is night and day. One hopes that Sprint’s cancer wouldn’t be thrown on T-Mobile but it’s looking like we won’t get that lucky. Full CNBC report below.

T-Mobile Announces Hiring Events for Veterans

T-Mobile announced an effort to hire military veterans at a series of October hiring events. There are 3500 open positions that T-Mobile hopes to fill with U.S. Armed Forces, and active members of the National Guard, and Reserves. T-Mobile is already has a significant amount of employees who have served or serve in the military.
