Adobe today announced the release of their Photoshop Elements series of software, Elements and Premiere Elements 12. Photoshop Elements is the top selling image editing software on the market.
“Our customers have a lot of photos and videos, and they love to use their home computers to organize them and be creative, but they also want the freedom and flexibility to view, edit and share on their mobile devices,” said Lea Hickman, vice president, products, Creative Consumer Business, Adobe. “Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 will provide customers with the best of both worlds, quickly, easily and at their discretion.”
Adobe has always been proud of their Photoshop software and they continue offering some of the best image editing tools in any software suite. Elements and Premiere Elements will feature some of the following features.
Mobile access. With Adobe Revel you can access all your photos and even edit them on your smartphone. Content-aware move allows you to move objects in a photo and then the empty area will be auto filled. Pet eye correction is a feature that removes the reflections from the eyes of animals (you know the glowing eyes when the flash hits them just right). Also added are, quick frames, effects and textures. Looks like Adobe really beefed up Elements after taking the full suite to the cloud. I think this was a good upgrade for those who do not want a month to month payment plan.
Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are available now on Adobe’s website for $99.99 and $149.99 respectfully. Other retailers will see the new software in the coming weeks. Not a bad price for the tools you’re getting. Will you be buying Elements?
