Several sources are reporting that ASUS will be debuting their own line of Chromebooks next year. Some sources are reporting that they may even be making an appearance at CES 2014. This would be ASUS’s first venture into the Chrome OS world, they make solid WIndows laptops and seeing their hardware mixed with Chrome OS should be interesting. Most of the information from these sources was gleaned from a conference call by ASUS CEO Jerry Shen. Chromebooks and ChromeOS is fast becoming a reliable alternative for budget minded users who have no need for heavy computing or heavy software.
